I hope this journal entry finds everyone doing great!

OK, so last month I had a journal entry on real trains and now this month is one on model trains!

Basically I wanted to tell you about a great online model train magazine called Model Railroad Hobbyist. Since it's an online magazine they are not limited to page count which means that they can put out extremely detailed articals on the hobby. A lot of them have video links to watch certain techniques, tips and layout tours! The best part is that the current, future and all past issues are 100% FREE!  They thrive strictly on the advertisers and word of mouth.

No, I don't work for them. Whenever I am this impressed with something I always like to pass it along. After all that's what model railroading is about. Sharing and passing along information to help our models look and run better!

Oh, to wrap up last months news on the UP SD90/43MAC's, is that UP has sidelined them for evaluation and to fix the cracking in the frame behind the front truck. So, it looks like when that is done, we will be seeing them ply the rails once more for some time!
